Treatment for the choking game

It only takes a little bit of pressure. Teach your kids the rear naked choke. Don't teach them for the purpose of this game, but teach them separately. Tell them not to use it. If they do end up wanting to play this type of game in the future, they can choke each other out without tying a rope around their necks. It's definably something children should not be making a game out of. The floaty feeling you get doesn't even last very long. It's a ten second giddyness, and yes, if feels good.

It's probably not good for you, but I don't think it's as awful as the article makes it sound. Also, you don't die when you pass out. You take a nap and your brain resets. You wake up feeling really, really clear headed. From my experience, there no high from passing out, only when you don't pass out. The high is actually rare as well. Most times you get choked, it just feels like pressure building up in your face and then it goes away when they let go.

Finally, it is believed by some that continued compression on your arteries can cause weakening of the walls like a garden hose that gets run over every day and can cause you to faint randomly later on down the road.
