I've been able to maintain fps ranging from in the past but now I'm getting about fps in my games.

I had been able to play the high demanding games like Blade n Soul, Swtor and a good variety of steam games on high graphic settings without loss in fps.

I find them pretty good to be fair but quite intrigued to try some Beyerdynamics. If I were to get one of those, I would likely go for the ohm version I think. I'll likely swap it out completely in the future. Generally tried many things. All of my friends have much more FPS than I do, with much older systems.

I know a laptop is just not that strong of performance. And GW2 is a bit poorly optimized. But I didn't expect something like this. I hope someone can help me. If it's important, I have another very old monitor its actually a tv 60hz connected to my laptop with an hdmi cable. In most situation driver should be able to switch in which mode which GPU that will be used, but sometime this doesn't work as well as it should and one have to manually set up which app that will work with which GPU.

As an example it is not uncommon when you use battery not connected to power outlet on laptop that it will use the less demanding iGPU even for games to save power on battery. Something to keep in mind when you compare your friends computers or laptop is for which resolution they are playing GW2 on.

The resolution and level of image quality post processing, high or low resolution textures, anitropisk filtering, anti aliasing[AA or FXAA in case of GW2] etc will also have an impact on which kind of FPS you will see. Fifty FPS isn't bad for GW2 in more empty map, but it is possible that what you see of how many player there is on map is being hidden when you don't use the higher settings in "Character Model Limit".

On low it will only render other player and characters model when you use keybind to show name tag for players. LOD setting do also change how far objects can will be before they will not be rendered. I have the feeling that in this case integrated GPU is being used. I dont know if that means the game is not using the nvidia GPU.. The power settings i already changed to high performance.
