At it again Lies Lies Lies!!! View my complete profile. We do NOT run Exchange small firm. I've created a separate account on the phone to recieve email from the same POP3 account while on the road.
When I send using the POP3 account on my phone, the message transmits OK and goes to my sent items folder on the phone. So far so good. However, I would very much like to have those sent items in my laptop Outlook's Sent Items folder. Is there a way to do this? I thought the FAQ had the info I needed, but when I selected this POP 3 account, then menu-folders, menu-manage folders, selected the pop3 accounts sent items, I saw the option to select "sync".
I selected it, but the next time I do this procedure it's changed back to "don't sync". Just wanted to put this here hopefully to short circuit a "read the FAQ" response. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. As a workaround, I suggest that you CC yourself on your e-mails.
Thanks, it is as I feared. I guess this is a carry-over from the days when "pocket PCs" weren't crammed full of communication options. As for cc'ing myself, I've considered that, or actually bcc'ing so that replies don't have multiple instances of my address, but it's a hassle to do for every email.
Still, it looks like my only option. Sadly, there's also a glaring lack of any sort of automatic "send a copy to myself" option as is available on many email clients. A general thought on the limited functionality: I'd rather have limits than buggy software. If adding such features would be any sort of engineering challenge, then by all means keep the limitations in favor of stability. I wonder what, if any, action Microsoft will take to improve this?
Here's hoping it doesn't have to wait for WM7! Carriers typically charge much less than a third party vendor when it comes to purchasing handsets. Nevertheless, they plan to make up this difference through the service plans and add-ons you get from them. As always there is a workaround. Once you have the unlocked phone, it is simple to get all the features working. Here you can select your phone from a wide range of phones and have the settings sent to the phone over the air without going through any menus and changing anything manually.
For phones that are not on the list it is still very easy to configure your settings. Your SIM card contains all the data needed to make voice calls and to send text messages. The following settings were used without any problems on an unlocked Samsung BlackJack:.
The alternative to this wireless standard is the CDMA wireless standard which is used by carriers such as Verizon and Alltel. Hi, Thanks for the info. Hi, thanks for your help. I have followed your instructions however my blackjack is still not allowing me internet connection. What should the proxy setup be? Also what letter should show in the top right corner of the home screen? Marlon, are you getting any error messages? You should not need any proxy setup for Tmobile, the settings provided above should work on the Tmobile network.
Bevin, I saw a post on Howard Forums with someone with the similar problem. Try adding these proxy settings as well in addition to the settings I mentioned above. I was able to configure my Unlocked BlackJack with no problem after this. Any idea how to get to work on suncom mms. Internet works fine and I have tried every windows mobile setting they have I beleive.
Only thing I can see is at the bottom of the mms profile it says bearer gprs and cannot be changed. I simply just cant my blackjack to work the way i wished it would. I think this is a cool phone, but what would be even cooler is if I could use some of its features. I think i am getting closer each day to success! Mohammad you are the man! Settings worked perfectly. For the port on the MMS messaging works. Finally got my picture messaging to work.

What file or download site I can goto to get help from this please email me thanks… stef42 charter. The MMS settings work great. But how do you check the t-zones site once you have the GPRS set up? Internet explorer on the blackjack?
If so, what address do you put in? How can I test the connection? Hit Menu instead and select Advanced should be the only option in the menu. I called mine t-mobile gprs. Also change the WAP setting to the same thing t-mobile gprs in my case.
Hit Done a few times. I cant figure out what i am doing wrong. Thanks buddy it worked perfectly fine…with the setting i used…. I have tried every configuration and I cannot get the internet to work on my unlocked Blackjack. This can be caused by incorrect addresses or an unavailable network. Pelase try again pr check your settings; Can you help me with setting up my IM on this phone?
I tried with T-Mobile but they can not help me. Thanks Janna. They are like 7kb when sent they are kb. Good luck. Mohammad i have t mobile and the setup for the picutre mms and it worked great!
You need only insert your SIM and it works without any changes the same way voice calls work without changes. One thing to double check is that your SMS service center number is correct.
